The evenings in Kolios are of a low key affair with a small selection of tavernas and restaurants with a few bars too ideal for an after dinner drink. For a much livelier evening the nearby capital, Skiathos Town has a wider choice of places to enjoy a nice meal or lively night at one of the music bars or night clubs. It is only six miles away so a local taxi will not set you back too much.

For days out head to the beach and hop on one of the water taxis that will take you on a scenic journey along the coast to Skiathos Town for a spot of lunch or a hopping fix. You can also take the water taxi to one of the many other beaches and resorts in the area. Being on the south coast, you have a choice of many fine sandy beaches and coves to explore.
