Look out over the waters and you are likely to spot a pink flamingo or two. Walking, horseriding and cycling are popular in the mountain areas, which lead down to the crystal clear waters via cliffs or natural pathways.

As with the mainland, Sardinia offers some delicious Italian dishes and wine, and the fashionable restaurants, bars and wine bars offer great service. Some eighty village festivals are celebrated each day during the summer months.
