Head to Puerto del Carmen for a much more lively night. A taxi ride will only take around 20 minutes and offers the chance to sample some of the many nightclubs that Lanzarote has to offer.

Out and about in Costa Teguise

Popular excursions include the market at the old town of Teguise, boat trips are on offer as well as golf and the local aqua park is always a popular day out for families. The volcanic caves of Cueva de los Verdes are a spectacular site, home of the blind albino crabs with one of the caverns being used for evening entertainment with a restaurant and bar. Head to Timanfaya (Fire Mountain) for a different day out, here you can climb the craggy lava slopes whilst riding a camel.
