Paphos holidays offer plenty of facilities and activities with a wide choice of excursions on offer to the ancient sites, a good choice of shopping, a beautiful harbour complete with swanky bars and restaurants overlooked by the castle and a wide choice of other bars, restaurants and clubs throughout the resort. There are a number of beaches in the town, however the best beach is to be found at nearby Coral Bay.

Hotels in Paphos have developed over the years and now stretch back quite a distance inland as well as outwards to both sides of the harbour and along the seafront. Many are now resort style properties with lots of facilities for all ages and prove particularly popular with families. Around a fifteen minute walk from the harbour inland is the unofficial bar street of Paphos which has a numer of bars that can get quite lively during high season .

The resort is a year round favourite with mild winters and hot summers, the summer sees temperatures range from 20-30+ºc in the summer from April to October. Winter sees the temperature average around 17ºc and is a perfect time for visiting the many ancient sites that offer a glimpse back in time. Excursions are available to the Troodos Mountains in the centre of Cyprus or take a cruise to Egypt and experience the land of the Pharaohs with a day in Cario the home of the Pyramids and Sphinx.
