Take a bus or hire a car and head up the craggy coastline to local towns and resorts such as Trogir or Omis.

The rocky coastline has always been popular with holiday makers in Split, where there is a good choice of rocky coves and watersports are on offer too. Diving in these crystal clear waters is also a popular pastime. Boat trips and water taxis are widely available from the marina and there are international services to Italy from the port area too.

Holidays to Split have been popular for many years and give tourists the chance to experience the historical sites such as the amazing Diocletian Palace, a Roman site that was constructed back in 305AD and is still standing today.
