Kassiopi Holidays

Kassiopi is on the north east coast of Corfu, it has been a very popular holiday resort with British holidaymakers for many years. This fantastic resort has sprung up from a village that has been here since Roman times and is a great choice for a beach break in the sun.

Holidays to Kassiopi are mainly based around the beaches of the resort. There are three beaches all offering something different. Bataria Beach is a small stretch of sand that is lapped gently by the crystal clear sea and as the sand shelves gently into the water it is a perfect spot for families to enjoy a dip and splash around. Pipitos Beach is a craggy cove that is accessible by climbing over some of the rocks to get to it, but offers a beach away from the crowds and well worth a visit. The third beach is Kanoni beach, it is a small bay and popular spot to enjoy fishing and snorkelling to see the amazing underwater world or indeed take an organised scuba diving excursion.

Kassiopi has a good choice of shops, bars and restaurants for tourists to enjoy with something for all tastes, from traditional Greek to international favourites. There is a good range of accommodation in Kassiopi from small family run apartments to good quality hotels, something for all budgets. Kassiopi as with other smaller resorts can be busy during the peak dates of July and August but is always popular during the other summer months too with a good climate that peaks at around 30ºc.

As the area dates back to Roman times Kassiopi holidays boasts a rich history that is just waiting to be explored. The castle at Kassiopi helped to defend the island of Corfu from the invaders of Crete during the Byzantine era.
